The opening quote of this book
says it all: “Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now.”
This is the rallying cry of Grandcolas to her readers. Lauren
Catuzzi Grandcolas was not only a dreamer, but an achiever.
She began this book before her untimely death on September 11, 2001 as a
passenger aboard Flight 93. Her two sisters finished what she
began, and their labor of love is this incredibly motivating and inspiring
book.
Do you have a dream?
Are you an accountant who secretly fantasizes about starting a rock
band? Do you love to write, but you don’t know how to start
writing a book and getting it published? You Can Do It
has the answers you need. Outlined in this book are 60 goals,
including learning to dance, improving relationships, playing an instrument,
budgeting your money, and sky diving. Each begins with a mental

Memories of fourth grade came
flooding back to me as I read #8 – Starting a Rock Band. With
my hairbrush as a microphone, I dreamed of being the next Joan Jett
or Pat Benatar. My husband is one of those brilliant “computer
people.” When I came across #16 – How to Build a Website, I thought
how great it would be to show him that I can wield a little technological
know-how of my own!
