I have a few favorite \"cheap meals\" but thought I\'d like to hear some of your ideas!

Here\'s some of mine:

-Ramen noodles (with a can of spinach thrown in... the kids and I love... do we need to explain how cheap?) bouncing lol
-Salmon patties and mac\'n cheese
-Big pan of BBQ pork
-Chicken and noodles... which leftovers to chicken noodle soup
-stuffed baked potatos
I\'m sure I\'m forgetting some good ones

One that I like is Kraft mac & cheese (follow the directions) then while it\'s still warm stir in a can of Campbell\'s condensed cream of celery soup (do not add water) and just about a tablespoon or two of milk to get the consistency right - it should look like mac & cheese, not soup, but you don\'t want it too thick either.

Some easy favorites around here:
[ul]Breakfast for dinner - scrambled eggs and toast, or pancakes (we keep homemade powdered mix in the frig).

Mac and cheese (I like the white mac and cheese at Trader Joe\'s) and a side of vegetables or fruit, or a dinner salad.

Canned soup and grilled cheese sandwiches.[/ul]

Great Post! I am always looking for new quick & cheap dinner ideas!

Some of my favorite quick & cheap dinners are:

Egg noodles with butter, garlic & squash

\"kitchen\" stir fry (basically whatever veggies, nuts, meat & rice I have on hand)

\"leftover\" salad - a big salad topped with cut up pieces of whatever meat is leftover from dinner the night before

Eggs scrambled with cheese and whatever veggies I have in the fridge

My friend swears by casseroles for easy, cheap dinners, one of these days I will have to get some of her recipes!
