I have so much random yarn left over from this and that.  I went through it this morning (during a frenzied clean-up of the craft/sewing room) and sorted out yarns that I could use to crochet up an afghan.  It will truly be hodgepodge, but I was thinking I could find somewhere to donate it that ought to be able to put it to good use.  It isn\'t doing any good sitting in umpteen bags scattered around that back room.   rolleyes Looking at how full the bag of yarn is, I may be able to make more than one, even.

Great idea - sort of like an old patchwork quilt made from bits of this and that.  It still keeps you warm and it\'s one of a kind.   smile

Yep smile  I\'m following a pattern, but because my yarn is bulkier than the pattern calls for, this afghan is turning out pretty wide.  It\'s going to take a lot of yarn to finish it.   shocked

I finished this afghan and took it to church to join the other donations. smile  It turned out pretty nice looking, considering it was a bit of  hodgepodge of yarns and colors.
