Hi, Heather

Most mushrooms are beneficial. If yours aren\'t growing on any of your plants, they\'re probably okay. I\'d just keep an eye on the other plants. If nothing else changed, but they suddenly start to go yellow and wilty, you might consider getting rid of the \'shrooms. One thing to be aware of is that a lot of mushrooms are not only inedible, they\'re poisonous. If you have kids, you might consider getting rid of them. (the mushrooms, not the kids!) Also, until an expert can tell you whether or not they\'re poisonous (and if so, how much), if you touch the mushrooms, WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE!! I\'m a landscape designer and take photos of plants as a hobby. I found out the hard way that it doesn\'t take much of a poisonous plant to make you very ill. All I did was touch a flower, forget to wash my hands, and then later put my fingers in my mouth. I don\'t say that to alarm you, just to let you know you should treat them with respect until you know what they are.
