Hi girls,

Thank you for welcoming me to the tribe, I needed some advise and didnt know where to turn to, my friend recommended the tribe so here goes... You'll prob think im mad emailing this in my first post but sure here goes!!!

I got engaged yesterday - it was a great day, my fiancee to be is a lovely lovely guy, but last night when I was on my own after the highs of the day I was thinking OMG is this the right decision, what if it doesnt work out and we dont even get to get married, what if he is not the one, do I really love him... Im freaking out now

I couldn't sleep last night, I kept telling myself this wont change anything, its simply our commitment to each other, especially if we are going to build a house etc, this is the next step.... I had butterflies all night and couldnt eat a thing, then when my mom rang saying she will be telling all my relations later on my stomach did sumersalts and I said to myself I dont want everyone knowing, Im not sure is this becuase I need to get used of the idea or what... Is this normal, im terrified I have made a wrong decision and that everyone knows now so I cant go back.... When its just me and him its great, but just yesterday everything went a bit crazy, he is the nicest guy ever, so kind and caring and I know he will treat me right.... so why I am being like this??

Good advice from MaraWriter, you might want to follow it.  Don't rush, take your time, be sure you're doing the right thing.  It may be just a classic case of "cold feet", but ........     Even if you have to delay the wedding, do it if you think that's the right course of action.  Perhaps it's just the idea of the wedding itself, maybe you need to elope.  But don't be afraid to talk it out with your DivaTribe sisters, that's why we're here, for one another.  Pour your heart out to us, it's a sure thing that we'll try to help as best we can and give the best advice that our experience allows.

I agree with the others that it is likely a very normal reaction.  I remember, shortly after finding out I was pregnant, standing there thinking, "Oh my God, what have we done??"  The shock of the enormity of it hit me!    Stay in touch with your intuition - don't panic right now and just see how you're feeling days and weeks form now.
