We love leggings because they're a) inexpensive, b) the perfect transitional piece going into fall, and c) a savvy way to wake up underutilized closet staples.

Lace leggings are a definite risky bet but if you know when to hold 'em, fold 'em, walk away and run like Kenny Rogers advises in The Gambler, you can pull them off with panache like the savvy, sexy star you are.  It's all about confidence and proper pairing.

I dunno about anyone else but I think these are way too risky to even bother messing around with unless it's Halloween or you are going out to a club.

Agreed!  Can't imagine anyone wearing them anywhere they want to be taken seriously, in any event.  Fun for a party of some sort, though. smile

True... It's definitely a trend that could end up looking very silly if not executed properly. We're interested to see how people wearing it on the street will pull it off!

Leggings, as we all know, are today a fashion staple, everyone has several pairs, often several different colours (not just black anymore).  But lace, it would definitely be tricky, they might only look "classy" on a small minority of women.  But it's like most fashion trends, someone has to lead the way and wear them on the street and observe the reaction you get.  You can imagine how radical mini skirts were like 50 years ago.  Lace leggings are worth the try, but not necessary on myself.

For me, I honestly only wear leggings to my yoga class.

I never thought I looked good in the legging/shirt over my a$$ look.

Although my sister rocks it and can pull it off easily, and says I look fine as well.  I just feel odd.

I think if you're in your teens and/or super long-legged, it's a cute look.  Otherwise, it borders on frumpy.  With a long top I'd just look like I was trying to hide something. Wink
