I've had long hair since high school. Yesterday, my friend the "hair artist" came over and gave me a short, choppy, bob haircut! I love it!
My immune disorder has made lot of my hair fall out. I have been wearing clip in extensions to fill it in and make it look normal, or else wearing a hat to cover my hair. I just got fed up with it, and decided to work with it instead of against it.
Fortunately, a lot of the hair I lost has started growing back, but its really, really short, and the texture is different. So, she cut it it in to a layered style thats short in the back, and longer around the front, and it turned out really cute. I feel so much better now!
Sorry to hear about your immune disorder. Shorter hair is less likely to fall out. It has less weight. And change is always good. It's amazing how a new "do" can make you feel so much better about yourself.
