When the weather's nice, what do you like to do outside?  I love doing yardwork and gardening.  DD loves to swim.  She and I recently bought locks for our bikes and may try to take some leisurely bike rides.  For as close as we live to the beach, we pretty much never go.  Maybe we'll try to do that a little more this summer. smile

DD and I went to the zoo today.  It's not a very big zoo, so 2-3 hours there is plenty of time.  It was nice to walk around, get some fresh air and see the new exhibits.  Both of us had a good time. big grin

I am more of an indoors person, but when I do go out side for an extended peroid I would have to say it is to take a walk with the family.

I live in a semi-rural area and there is a dirt side-road close to my home that makes an absolutely wonderful walking path.  I try to walk for close to an hour every morning and every evening, and after the walks feel just so rejuvinated and alive, my mind and thoughts seem so much clearer and I'm generally just happier.  Besides my wonderful walks, I try to find time in each day to work in my flower garden, another activity that is just so peaceful and pleasant.

I love working in my garden all Summer. We have  several flower beds, and a large fenced in vegetable garden, so it keeps me very busy!

We have had a long drought this year, so I have had to water everything a lot more. Last year we had an overly wet summer, so its been interesting to notice the difference in what plants thrived last year opposed to this year. It has taught me a lot about how to care for all of my different perennials and the placement of different vegetables in my garden.
