I made a taco-style lentil and rice filling last night - used up some of both that I had on hand.

There's a local blogger who my best friend introduced me to who has a really great food blog called Budget Bytes:

She gives a lot of great cheap recipe ideas and breaks it down by total recipe cost and cost per serving. I haven't tried making any of her recipes myself, but my best friend has made a few and swears they're easy to do and delicious!
