Welcome to DivaTribe

A diva accepts herself as she is right now and strives to be even better.
She doesn't change who she is to fit someone else's idea of what she ought to be.
She reaches for her own ideal sense of whom she wants to be.
She's strong; she's courageous; she's creative.

One of my favorite ways to relax and unwind is by soaking in a nice hot bath with scented herbal sea salts.  Sometimes I light the room with a dozen or so candles and just let my mind wander while other times I'll dip down with a good book.  I love how easily the sea salts with their lovely aroma can ease away the tension or stress in my body.

So... how about you?

What is one way you like to unwind?

Yours sounds wonderful. smile

For me, there's nothing like a great ballet class to get my mind off of my troubles and make me feel great.  I wish I could go every night!! big grin

Ballett....I'm so jealous.  That is something I always wanted to learn but never had the opportunity.  What a marvelous way to unwind and stay in fit to boot!
Thanks Jen.

Working out at lunchtime helps me ease the stress of the work day.  At home after the day is done, I like to read, play board games, or listen to music to unwind.  We watch TV, too, but that's not really unwinding.

I have to admit, on the days when I work out, I feel much better and more relaxed.  It's those great endorphines we get going when we do that.

I also enjoy drinking a nice hot cup (or two!) of mint tea.

In the big "coffee house" style mugs especially.

And I love putting on my favorite scents.   Right now I am obsessed with satsuma body butter from The Body Shop.  I also have strawberry.  You can smell it all day long!

Ooohhh, scents!  I hadn't thought about that, but it's so powerful.  I am going to do this tonight!

Yes, scents are wonderful...lavendar, bergamot. I probably spelled that one wrong but I don't write with it, just use the essential oil to relax and I LOVE the scent.

Putting some in the bath is so luxurious!

Thanks for reminding me of how wonderful the scents can be for unwinding and moods in general.

Probably not. Wink

But there are a few here with alcohol/substance addictions (in recovery) so you won't hear that from them.
