What are you ladies favorite shampoo's and hair products?

I am looking for a good volume and shine product. A lot of the root lift & volume products I have tried get flaky after styling - looking like dandruff.  sad

Honestly, I don't use much in my hair anymore.  I have long, thick straight hair.  I usually just buy Suave or VO5 shampoo and conditioner.   When I blow-dry it, I rub some of my handlotion in my hands and then pat it through to prevent frizzies and fly-aways.  Most days my hair ends up in a pony-tail anyways (I know, pretty boring LOL).

Loreal has a "professional" line that you can get at beauty supply stores or salons.  I have the same problem with the flaking you described....and I find the Loreal volumizing mousse works great.  I also really like Bumble & Bumble products.

I shop at an online store that offers some really great hair products. At the moment, I'm hooked on their Herbal shampoo.... they offer all kinds though, to accommodate the different hair types.

Wonderful topic!

I am in the same situation with you allinyc accept my hair is not thick. I do have a lot of static though, not frizziness. Winter is the worst season for me and static. I have to keep a darn dryer sheet by my side 24/7 basically to keep it away, which is very annoying.

I will take a look at the Loreal products and see what I can find. Thanks HeatherH! smile

I have very fine, thin hair which is easily frizzy and is usually weighed down too much by most products.  The Loreal is still working great for me.
