Welcome to DivaTribe

A diva accepts herself as she is right now and strives to be even better.
She doesn't change who she is to fit someone else's idea of what she ought to be.
She reaches for her own ideal sense of whom she wants to be.
She's strong; she's courageous; she's creative.

Here are a few of my favorite quotes about parenting.  Please share yours!

"Childen need encouragement like plants need water." Rudolf Dreikurs

"Children are great imitators. So give them something great to imitate." Anonymous

"You can learn many things from children. How much patience you have, for instance."  Franklin P. Jones

"Making the decision to have a child - it's momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking outside your body."  Elizabeth Stone

This isn't necessarily about parenting but I've used it many times when parenting my girls.

"Our character is not decided by our circumstances alone, but rather by how WE CHOOSE to react to them."

...not sure who said it, but they were pretty smart I'm thinkin'.   clap

This is so true and can certainly be applied to everyday life.   Once you start thinking this way, especially regarding things/people you cannot change, life is much more calm and relaxed Wink.
