Welcome to DivaTribe

A diva accepts herself as she is right now and strives to be even better.
She doesn't change who she is to fit someone else's idea of what she ought to be.
She reaches for her own ideal sense of whom she wants to be.
She's strong; she's courageous; she's creative.

Hello, I hate to intrude here, but my name is Carl and me and several dozen of my closest friends have recently started our own Message Board Forum. You see, we are all fans of the Boston Red Sox, and we originally organized and posted at the ESPN Message Boards. At first we had a great time posting not only about the Boston Red Sox, but  also about any number of  topics of converstion. It was very enjoyable until the moderators at ESPN became oppressive and began allowing the mass removal of threads and began banning mutilple users until the place became so unbearable, everyone simply left. A few weeks ago, we all reorganized at a different forum but discovered that we simply didn't fit with the existing posters. Finally, one of our more resourceful posters created a shiny new Message Board for us to post at. It's perfect, we are all posting to our hearts content and it's like old times again.

Here's where I need your help, in the course of deserting one board, and migrating to another, and finally creating a new home for ourselves, we have lost most of our female posters. There were only a few to begin with, but only a couple have made the trip. As you can imagine, the ratio of men to women is quite heavy.

I am hoping some of you will be willing to come over and post in a few threads. You do not need to be a fan of the Red Sox, or Sports, as we enjoy posting about off topic materials as much as baseball. We are (for the most part) witty, topical, well read, educated, and charming. I swear no harm will come to you and no one will atempt to stalk you. (TD can get a little clingy but he's basically harmless).

In return, we would be happy to send a few dignitaries over here to perhaps discuss power tools, or how to change your own oil, or anything you want.

Furthermore, there is at least one member of our forum who will donate $5 for each new woman poster to a Breast Cancer Fundraiser I am involved with (http://www.the3day.org/goto/ceb364).

Also, I believe cookies and punch wil be made available.

Well, I hope I haven't bothered you too much, and thank you for your time. Hope to see you at:
