I\'m revisiting the birth control pill issue.  I\'ve had trouble finding a pill that didn\'t cause acne - I\'m not talking a zit here and there, I\'m talking acne.

I\'ve tried several different brands in the last year with no luck.  Anybody else go through this, and does anybody have a recommendation/suggestion?  Apparently, my body doesn\'t handle the estrogen very well.

I don\'t have ersonal experience with an IUD, but I know some people who have liked them, and it avoids the hormone issue altogether.

I can relate to what you are asking!

Yasmin made me break out like a teenage boy for 3 weeks, it was horrible! I still have the scars!

Over the years, I have tried the patch, the shot, Yasmin, Otho-Tricyclen, and Ortho-Tricyclen Lo...

The best I have found as far as not causing acne or excessive weight gain is Ortho-Tricyclen Lo.

Just my 2 cents! Good Luck!

I\'m so jealous.  I am mid-cycle and did not go back on yet, and I\'m breaking out horribly.  I can\'t wait for this cycle to end so I can start up again.

I think I\'m going to try that one also, the patch just isn\'t working out for me. sad It\'s not sticking well and I\'m scared that I\'m not getting enough of the hormone.  It sticks fine at the beginning of the week, but then I always feel it starting to come off in the last four days.  I\'ve tried placing it on different areas of my body, but I\'m still having the same problem at the end of the week.
My issue with pills is that I\'m very forgetful, how do you guys remember to take it?
I\'m glad you found a solution Jenn, I hope it works out for you.  Good luck with the emotional upheaval of a new hormone change!  Wink

I have to take medicine for my ears every day, so I\'m in the habit of taking something once a day.  I make it part of my morning routine and keep the medicine in the kitchen close to the cat food, so in the morning when I feed the cats it\'s right there.

for me if I decide to go back to b.c. I plan on checking out the IUD.  Hopefully you can find something that works for you.

If I take it in the morning, it makes my stomach quesy. So, I keep it in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom and take it every night after I brush my teeth.
