I know we've done this in the past on the boards, and I really need to re-cultivate my attitude of gratitude.  A couple of things have gone sideways for me over the last 72 hours and I am feeling panicked and a bit sorry for myself.  So I'm going to post 5 things I am grateful for.  Join me!

1.  A DH who makes me feel secure
2.  A job with a steady paycheck
3.  A mortgage that won't re-set
4.  Good health
5.  Positive changes I have made/am making

Everyday, huh?!  This is going to be an interesting exercise for me.  I am grateful for many things in my life but I'm wondering if it will be hard to pinpoint them.

April 2

1) April Fool's Day jokes
2) That my mother loves to create extravagant decorations for my girls bday's.
3) how close I live to my younger sister
4) my former daycare provider
5) business at dh's work picking up (yay!)

I'm feeling sorry for myself at the moment so this is probably exactly what I ought to reflect on today.

1. Ability to move and dance, even if classes are being canceled.
2. Ability to afford classes.
3. Pets who like to snuggle near me while I'm home.
4. Internet access.
5. Time to cook and explore new recipes.

No earthquake today Heather?  LOL.  That's interesting. I've never experienced an earthquake, even though you hear every once in awhile there was some very minor one here in NY.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm............let's see...........

1.) A pretty relaxing week at work so far.
2.) Both of my preemie nieces are finally home as of yesterday.
3.) A pediatrician's office that is open till 11:00 every night.
4.) Free library books!
5.) Reese's peanut butter cups.
6.) Dunkin' Donuts COFFEE!

Our office building shook a bit; but it wasn't an earthquake, it was the military base doing some explosive something-or-other.  I live in San Diego, so we're in prime earthquake territory.  I've always been afraid of tornados and hurricanes, but I grew up with earthquakes.
