I feel like sort of a nimrod asking this, but do you think the conversion to Digital TV next month will improve  reception to non-cable TV's?

We never ran cable to one side of our house, so while the boys each have TV's in their rooms (for watching DVD's and playing video games) they do not get a single TV channel. I am considering getting 14 year old DS one of those convertor boxes so that he can view the local "over the air" channels. I am just curious if it will even work. We live on top of a huge hill, so I imagine our reception would be better than lower lying areas...

Does anyone know more about this?

I don't know much about it.... I'm just amazed at all the advertising for pushing it, you'd think it's a matter of national security to make sure everyone has digital cable. They should put that much energy into some global issues Wink Wink

Here's an out-there question...  is there even one other diva who is without a tv, like me?  I have been happily without one for the past 25 years.  It has been pretty good for my health....
