For all you book worms out there and lovers of info, check out BookMooch.com  as it is a great place to trade books for free.  You simply list the books you have to trade, and put books on your wishlist that you would love to have.  You can browse through thousands of freely offered books worldwide.  I goes by a point system.   I have been involved for a year and I love it.  My friends and family love getting books for gifts and this way, I save so much money on it all!!  I have found several books from my daughter's childhood that we never thought we would see again.  She got one for Christmas and, wow, did it make her smile!  It is also a great way to become introduced to new material via others' recommendations.  Plus, if you order from other countries, you see cool stamps!!

That looks like a really neat site for swapping books.  Have you ever had any problems with it?

maybe one percent of the people I trade with will not come through with their commitment.  I will check in with them after, say, two months of not receiving the book and they will apologize profusely, admitting that they simply cannot find the book in their collection.  That is the only problem.  I truly have had wonderful responses otherwise, as well as offers of other wisdom including recipes.
