Hi everyone!!!! Just checking in..........Matthew Robert was born on his due date, 12/30/08 at 12:03 AM after a VERY short labor. Basically, I went to my doctor on the morning of 12/29 and told I hadn't dilated yet. I was very frustrated to say the least........I went home and had some leftovers, and then began having "stomach issues" which I thought were related to that.........however, the pain increased ten-fold and we quickly realized they were contractions. I got to the hospital around 8PM, requested an epidural and he was born a little over 3 hours later. We've been home since New Year's Eve and are still getting adjusted (his days and nights are mixed up) but otherwise, couldn't be more happier .

Congratulations! Definitely a very exciting time!  My son is 7 months old, so I can relate!

I actually posted a couple pics on my blog.  I have decided to go the bottle-feeding route.  Primarily because I am returning to work and I personally feel that it is too much of a committment for my/DH's lifestyle.

We are getting adjusted now and I am so, so in love with the little guy!
