My 14 yr old DS's has nightly journal writing assignments for his Language Arts class. Tonight, after helping him with the days writing prompt, I got a chance to see what he had written so far this year.

I was surprised and heart-warmed to read the entry where he had to write about a "hero"... He wrote about me! He wrote that "My Mom is his hero because when she had me she had to take care of me all alone, and had to work very hard, go to school, and juggle a lot of things, but always put me first... Now, she owns her own business, and is successful, but not Haughty..."

Wow! I was so surprised to read that!
