Okay Ladies....I'm looking for some ideas.
My youngest daughter, Mckenna, just turned 10 last week. She has ALWAYS wanted to sleep in our room, but it's time for her to sleep in her own bed.
I have to tell you that we have a neighbor not far away that she is very afraid of. He's a real creep. That said, while I believe that her fear is real, I also think that she uses this to manipulate her daddy.
We have discussed options with her, (boarding up her window, covering it with something, making sure it's locked tightly, letting the dog sleep in her room, etc...) but she just continues to make this a HUGE problem every. single. night.

I'm at a loss. My two older daughters NEVER had a problem with sleeping in their own rooms. My husband babies this one excessively and I am TRYING to help her grow up to be a secure, self-assured young lady.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what did you do? If not....I welcome your ideas!
