So, how are your kids doing, for those that have started back again?  And if they aren't back yet, how much longer do they have off?

DD goes back right after Labor Day, so she still have a solid week of downtime to enjoy still. smile  I go back next week.

DsS goes back the day after Labor Day.  I can't register him at the new school (due to our move) until Monday.  We don't know what to expect, but the school itself is a nice campus.  It was built a year ago, replacing an outdated campus.  We're looking forward to seeing it.

My boys went back today. DS's high school bus was right on time, but little DS's elementary bus was 35 minutes late! The bus stop is right in front of our house, so I went inside and called the transportation dept. after all the neighbors started to get antsy.

I could tell 14 yr old DS was a little nervous about the first day of high school, but fortunately he is friends with an older girl in the neighborhood, who was giving him advice on his schedule at the bus stop.

8 yr old DS would never admit it, but he was so excited to be starting 3'rd grade!

I think I will have the hardest time re-adjusting to the schedule - 6:00 am is too early for me! I will be a zombie by the time the weekend gets here! big grin

DD's been back for a week.  she really likes it.  Her teacher is tough this year but I don't think we'll mind.  DD still thinks she nice.
All the parents helped buy back to school supplies for the classroom which I picked up at Target.  I forgot a did a little shopping for myself too and realized I left my box of tampons in the bag I gave to the teacher.  ooops   tongue
