I was within inches of being completely run down by an impatient idiot today.

I had just put my cart in the cart return in the grocery store parking lot. A lady stopped to let someone back out, and the moron in the truck behind her started honking his horn & freaking out because he had to wait 5 seconds.

I had just walked behind his truck when I heard the clunk-clunk sound of him shifting gears to reverse & slamming on the gas. Thank God I heard that - I jumped backward - out of the way and landed into the cart return. I started screaming like a maniac, then he stopped his truck literally on top of the spot where I had been standing.

My Blood Pressure & Adrenaline went through the roof - I ran around to the front of his truck and started pounding on the hood screaming "You almost ran me over you Idiot!!"

He said "I didn't even see you - I'm sorry!" I said "Well you should God Damned look before you slam your foot on the gas pedal and kill someone trying to spare 5 seconds of your precious time!"

I could not stop shaking for like 30 minutes!

Glad you're okay! So much road rage in this country!
