I got a gift certificate for a facial for Mother's Day and I finally used it this evening.  A friend of ours has her own skin care business ad she spent almost two hours with me.  It was wonderful!  Talk about indulgent. big grin I'll be curious to see how my skin responds...

How did the response go, Jen?  I haven't had a facial in a while, but I usually enjoy them!  I think I only broke-out after one of 'em.

It was fine.  I was already kind of breaking out in a few spots anyway, so I really can't contribute that to the facial.  But I'm hooked!  I want to get another one in a few months.

Has anyone had a microderm abrasion treatment? Those are like an instant face lift. They remove all the dead skin cells of the epidermis and the result is a fresh layer of skin. If you do it a couple of times a week at home the results are  dramatic. But you must be careful in the sun if you do, because you are more exposed and you must wear sunblock when ever you go out in the sun, even if just for a short time. smile flower

Yes, I used to have microdermabrasion done by an esthetician.  Great results, but too pricey to keep up.
