What do you think the worst job would be in the event of an earthquake. Like a 6 pointer. After seeing the news on the grocery store messes after the recent shaker, I think that might be the worst job, since someone has to clean up after.

I think the worst job would be cleaning up lab in a hospital - all that blood & body parts - woulnd't be for me!  Or how about having to dig up and re-align the sewage pipes that may have come apart?   eek eek

Wow. I never thought about the sewage pipe clean up. YUCK! What about a window washer for 20 story building, I guess that would go under most dangerous job. :-p

I don't know if it would be the "worst" job since they are trained for it and many get great satisfaction from serving others, but I would imagine that EMS/police/fire department and crisis staff/social workers dealing with the aftermath of a major disaster probably have it pretty tough!

I think the worst job to have DURING an earthquake might be a painter. Being on a ladder or some scaffolding while the earth is moving. Not to mention the risk of falling but the paint getting dumped all over the place. Oy, no thanks.
