I know it's usually a PITA to get appointments with the cable company around here.  You have to schedule weeks in advance, and then they give you a "window" of the time they will come so you are basically waiting around all day.  And weekend appts (because none of us work during the week  ) are even more backed up...........I think of how much we pay for cable every month for not a whole lot and it tends to make my stomach turn.
