Tomorrow we are having a neighborhood block party! There is an open grassy field at the end of our culdesac, so we are setting up a tent, tables and grills. My neighbor (one of the women I go to lunch with) was planning the whole thing by herself, so I offered to help her out.

It should be interesting! I have never met a lot of the people that live in the new section, and I it will be a good thing for everyone to get to know each-other.

The block party was interesting!

It was good to bring everyone together - we live in the "old" section - houses built in the late '60's - the "new" people live in houses all were built where the woods used to be - until their houses were built.

Some of the "new" people are really cool, while others I would trade in for the old woods! Either way, I am glad that both sides of the neighborhood are finally getting around to meeting each-other!

DH rode the ATV down, the kids were lined up for rides like at an amusement park - it was hilarious!
