I haven't done any sewing in a long time, and especially not any clothing.  I found a pattern I'd bought but hadn't tried out yet, so I grabbed some fabric from my shelf and made a cute strappy top for DD today.  Considering I didn't spend a lot of time on it and wasn't terribly meticulous, it turned out pretty cute, and she wanted to wear it right away when it was done.   She made a green velvet cloak for one of her stuffed animals and managed to create a hood for it and attach a belt, too.  We had a sewing day!
