I have no idea what to get DH for Fathers Day! What he really needs is a few days off, but unfortunately I cannot arrange that for him! What are some of you doing for your DH's for Fathers Day?

I'm a little late, sorry about that!  The biggest thing I do for DH is arrange something that he and DS will enjoy together.  I go along too, but I try and make sure they get time alone to hang out.  This year we went to the beach and I was sure to take stuff I knew they'd both like to do (wiffle ball, bat, beach ball paddles, nerf football).  They had a blast and I got to read a few chapters in a book I've been wanting to read.  My favorite moment was watching them as they stood with their feet in the ocean and just talked.  It was so cool.   heart  I played with them too, a little bit, but tried to make it about them.  Then I took them both out to dinner.  As for a gift, DS and I got DH an iPod.  DS and I both have them, but DH didn't.   diva

It is not very romantic, or restful, but the boys and I wound up getting DH the rest of the sand & gravel he needed to finish up the patio project we have been working on. I also cooked him a nice steak on the grill, which he enjoyed after working in the yard!
