I was clicking through some of my book marks and a site had this board on it. I love the name and come here in hopes of no drama.

I am a SAH, homeschooling mom with three kids: boy 12, boy 8, girl 5. As for what I do: I am a published writer, I knit, crochet and sew, a Reiki master, learning to work with herbs, belly dance, tap.

Wulp, there are a couple of schools of thought about Reiki. Some believe you must ahve an in person teacher. Others think, like me, that distant attunements are fine.

I you want a face-to-face teacher, look at your local health food store or metaphysical place. Even off the beaten track newspapers and some that are on th track will have ads for teachers.

Online, you can find loads of folks who will help out. I am a part of several yahoogroups which have a Reiki focus. Many of them have teachers who will attune you for free. THat's how I received my attunements.
