Dh and I decided to do something a little impulsive and went to see the new Indiana Jones movie tonight. rotf  With DD gone, it seemed like a fun idea. big grin  The movie was basically what you expect, but fun nonetheless.  A movie on a school/work/week night?  Whoa!  bouncing lol

I loved the original movies, I remember watching them repeatedly on VHS, at slumber parties as a pre-teen!

Recently, on a rainy day, the boys watched one of them on tv, and really liked it. We are planning on taking them to see the new one at the drive-in - should be fun!

This is playing along with Iron Man (a movie my 8 year old DS is dying to see) as the double feature at the Drive-In right now. If it doesn't rain, we are going to take the boys this weekend!

I thought Shia was a great addition to the Indiana Jones movie. I really enjoyed, although I think I liked Iron man better. I can't wait for SATC and the Stangers  this weekend!

I enjoyed it - very 'Indiana Jones' smile
There's actually a show on the History channel (lol, I feel like I'm always plugging the History channel) about real Indiana Jones stories where they research legends.  It's cool smile

I haven't seen this movie yet.  I did like the other films.  I've heard mediocre reviews from critics and friends.  I think I'll wait until it comes on DVD and rent it.

I think I'll be watching the DVD, too, but mostly because we never seem to get to the movies.  Jen, it sounds like a fun date night for your and DH!  yippee

I saw the movie a few weeks ago; as much as I love Harrison Ford, I couldn't help but be a little disappointed Sad

I'm not sure who thought of putting aliens into Indiana Jones...
