That was soooo weird! really!...I mean, he NEVER calls (we call, but he doesn't)...hmmmm, maybe it's because of the earthquakes, cyclones, erupting volcanos and other natural disasters??? ...

I was drying Ale's hair and didn't even hear the phone...sis got it...she then told me it was for me, but she didn't understand who it was or what they wanted...she handed me the phone and, being a Sunday morning and, having called all my "callable" contacts already for the day, I thought: Oh, no, it's the credit company reminding me that I have a payment due on Monday (which I had done on Saturday, but with check, and if paid with check it never shows up in their system the next day!)...so I say: Yes, hello...and he says: hello, what's up!...and I'm like: hmmm, I KNOW this voice, but, honestly, I couldn't place it!!!  eek bouncing lol ... so I just asked a couple generic questions and then it hit me!!  blah blah blah ...so I said: Oh, miracles DO happen!...anyway, he spoke with Ale (just chit-chat from what I could tell)... my poor baby, her eyes watered!  hug

So, I guess now we go back to waiting another couple of years for the next contact (hmmmm, see, I KNEW he's from outer space!)  dry

Wow - that has got to be tough, it is pretty selfish of him to disappear and reappear whenever he feels like it! Has Ale been handling it ok?

I'm not really sure how she's taking it...
about 3 weeks ago (before the call) she started telling me: Mom, YOU are my favorite parent, YOU! - which would be endearing if I didn't worry that she's hurting when she says that!  hammer

well, he did call her for her b-day...or tried to....three times...niece got the calls... twice we were out of the house, and the other time I was out and Ale was asleep, so niece just told him> "she's already asleep, she's a young kid and goes to sleep at 8" and hung up!  eek  (SHE told me this)...

He wrote to tell me he had tried to call but couldn't get through....so I actually made Ale call him back (I had asked her if she wanted to and she had said no, but that day I just told her: you're calling your dad...) she was very happy when they hung up (after about 20 minutes).... so I know it was the right thing to do...

While it seems strange that he's calling more now that he's married, it could actually be his wife's doing, so I keep her in my prayers everyday!
