hi!  i'm new!  i'm switching from a women's message board that used to be very fun but has gotten mean and hostile.  i deal with that enough in real life smile

Welcome! I can totally relate to how you feel. I found this site when I was going through the same exact thing on another message board.  Many of us had actually met in real life, and I think the site just got to be way too close for comfort.

People were being very jealous, and just got nasty with their responses. Everyone would also talk behind everyone's back in PM's.  It became like an online "sorority house".  (I say that because I was in one in college and remembered how catty women could get!!).

I have never really observed that kind of stuff go on here. I think that's also because most of us have a life beyond the message board, which IMO, is another reason some of them can get nasty.  On the one I used to be a part of, I think that's what the majority of the women would do all darn day...........go to that site!!
