has anyone ever tried Bowtrol?  I know some of the site's and their pictures are pretty gross but I've seen mostly positive reviews on it and I am in the quest of ridding my body of toxins!

I've never heard of it before.  Most health foods stores have a variety of these kinds of products, though I don't know how effective they really are at doing what they say.   unsure

I have never heard of that, but have you seen the TV ad for Kinoki footpads? Not sure if I spelled that right, but they are pads you put on your feet at night and it draws the toxins out of your body through your feet, they really do work.  Although the faster way is to find someone who does foot detox, I have had this done, it is really gross but incredibly effective.

This is the second time in about a week that someone around me has mentioned these foot pads, so I went and looked them up.  They are fairly expensive, given how  many they recommend you use until you get to the maintenance mode.  I wonder if they would really produce any benefits.  unsure

I saw them on an infomercial. I am usually very wary about purchasing anything that's sold on an infomercial.

I can vouch for the foot pads, my friend sell them, they do take a while though, which is why it is better to find someone who actually does foot detox with a footbath, that is much more effective, but I know people who do this are not available to everyone.

I read a lot of really poor reviews on the foot pads.  Almost everyone was saying 'don't waste your money'.

I've been taking the bowtrol for 2 days and so far so good.  Nothing dramatic but some of the reviews on it says it takes about a week.

Lara - what kinds of effects are you hoping to see/feel?  I ask out of sincere curiosity and not cynicism, I promise!  smile  I was just wondering what it does and how you'll know if it's done anything for you or not.

I was wondering the same thing...  What exactly would it cleanse from the body?I honestly know nothing about this kind of thing!

I'm kind of a fanatic about the whole 'toxin cleansing' thing right now so maybe I'm going overboard. Wink

But basically a lot of our ailments come from the toxins that are built up in our body, like plastics and metals and the things that 'stick' and don't get purged like other things.

I've been on several other cleanses and I think it really does make a difference with my mood, my energy and my overall feeling.  Plus it's supposed to help with any inflammations, headaches, and other ailments that seem to be chronic.

Everyone has toxins, not just plastics and metals, but all kinds of things like cycts, yeast.  Cancer can be better dealt with by having regular detox through footbaths then with radiation.  Then there are the parasites.  Everyone has them.  Some are just more prevelant then others.  My husband and Daughter went and had a treatment on Sunday, b/c my daughter has had a cough for 3 mths, she is going back on thursday for another one.  There are other things you can do as well to aid in the detox, like foot reflexlogy, which sends little electrical pulses through your feet up your body to kill parasites, also there is the Chi machine which aids in oxegenating your body.
