Welcome to DivaTribe

A diva accepts herself as she is right now and strives to be even better.
She doesn't change who she is to fit someone else's idea of what she ought to be.
She reaches for her own ideal sense of whom she wants to be.
She's strong; she's courageous; she's creative.

I had a great, happy side effect of getting my financial act together.  I was examining my credit card statements carefully (which I don't usually do....I just log in to the credit card website(s) once a month to pay the bill(s).....) and I found that I'd accumulated a bunch of "points" on a rewards card I have.  I've had this card for years and didn't ever think about the fact that I am "earning" points.  Bottom line:  I was able to exchange the points for $30 in Starbucks gift cards!

I saw that article the other day and wondered how I didn't know about the "short cup".  I'm in a stock club who owns some shares of Starbucks, so I keep my eye on news about the company.  Plus, when I was in my MBA program I did a project for my marketing class on Starbucks, so I'm always interested in what they're doing.  I think that now that Howard Schultz is back in charge they will make many positive changes.

BTW, I love Dunkin' Donuts coffee!  One of my best friends is from Boston and when her family comes to visit or she goes back she always brings me some.  smile  I don't know if you have any It's a Grind franchises around you, but their coffee is outstanding.

Dunkin' Donuts is my favorite Heather!

I actually have a bag to grind at home now. I go there every morning before work and get a large to bring with me!

I just saw a commercial that they are going to start selling the coffee in grocery stores.

DD is everywhere here, too, like Starbucks.

Ooh, coffee!  One of my favorite subjects! big grin

Gloria Jeans is my fav, but I haven't been to find any since moving back east.  Caribou Coffee's white chocolate cafe mocha makes for a nice substitute (I have a wee bit of a sweet tooth... Wink )
