Thats Great! I really need to follow your example - my books are taking over my house! I need to go through all of them and sell off the excess!

When I was in College, I used to sell all of the text-books I didn't keep on Half.com...

rotf Off topic, but when I was in college the internet was in its infancy - can't believe how much things have changed in the last 20 years.

I've sold 5 books for a net profit of $16.  I've got 26 more listed; some textbooks.  So far Harry Potter fetched the best price.  big grin

I'm up to 10 sales for a net profit of $24.64.  The post office is on the way home, so it takes very little effort on my part.  I know the profit is little, but it's better than zero dollars.  big grin

Like you said, it IS profit!  And, you're clearing out clutter an giving items a second life, which is good too.

It may help create a subtle shift in your mindset too, as you explore ways to bring in more money while trying to spend less money. thumbs up

I used to do a lot of business on eBay but Ive never heard of half.com.  I will have to check into it.  My SO and I have a TON of books for varying businesses and whatnot that we were interested in and all they do is take up space now!

just out of curiousity, what kind of books are you selling HeatherH?  I have a lot of chic lit, probably over 100 books that I have already reread too many times to count and its probably time to get rid of them.

I've sold chick lit, textbooks, kids books, Dr. Phil books (don't ask....it was a gift from my mother.....).  All kinds!  Harry Potter still fetched the biggest price.
