Having issues with boyfriend vs. best friend.

Boyfriend (almost 2 yr together) expects to be #1 all the time. 

Best friend (almost 15 yr together) understands, but I still feel sometimes like she deserves more attention than I am able to give her right now.

Anyone else faced this dilemma?  How did you handle it?
