Beginning Tuesday, August 14th, I will begin facilitation of a 12 Step Women's Meeting on Treasure Island. This particular meeting is geared towards women who have given Drug Treatment Furlough from the California Department of Corrections. 

These women are good women who need a chance to reclaim their lives or to find it having never lived. Not asking you to save the world, but if you could help save just one. Helping one woman can have a far reaching impact in that woman's life, future generations, as well as for the community as a whole. Helping to empower one reduces recidivism, homelessness, welfare dependency, substance abuse, crime/violence in the community.

The only requirement is a heart of compassion and willingness. I don't have an exact start date. For now, I'm gathering names of women who are interested.
