I've been single for a while now. Everytime I start dating, the guys I date end up being idiots!

I would like to know where to find decent gentlemen?

Hi:

I think good places to meet nice guys are at places related to what you like or are involved with, that correspond with men of a similar mind.

If you like gardening, regularly visit a nursery or greenhouse to meet men who also are involved with that.

If you like home improvement/renovation, hang out at Home Depot or Lowes to meet men who work in that industry, or work for themselves.

Take an automotive class to learn more about caring for your car, and to meet men who are taking the class.

Take a hiking, camping, kayaking or fishing class, if you like that or have always been curious about those things.

Do you like to read?  Check out some of the sections in the bookstore where the type of men you want to meet would be.  Try to cultivate an interest that would require you to look at books in that section.

Look for men who are shopping and who look confused and may need advice on what to buy.  If you just hang out a little in that area, he may ask for your help.

Look for opportunities to buy men gifts, such as co-workers, relatives, neighbors, so that you will have a reason to visit men's stores or sections in department stores.  This way you can ask a man's advice and maybe meet someone nice.

Try to volunteer at father/son or father/daughter functions to meet single fathers, if you don't mind meeting someone with a child.

If you are computer literate, start a group at Meet-Up http://www.meetup.com.  It does take a little time to recruit members and to get a group going, but this can be just one way, in addition to all the others, that you try to meet men.

When you watch TV, try to learn more about what men like and do, where they go and see how your interests and goals can fit in.

Go to community meetings and participate in community organizations to meet men who care about their community.

Broaden your horizons and do something different Work on yourself while looking for opportunities to meet a different kind of man.

Place yourself in GOOD places to meet good men.  Place yourself in places where men are focusing on something good, intelligent, positive, respectful, motivating, uplifting, goal-oriented, etc.  These are places where, at that moment, men are focused upon their futures.

You just may meet someone who would like to include you in theirs!  clap
