Welcome to DivaTribe

A diva accepts herself as she is right now and strives to be even better.
She doesn't change who she is to fit someone else's idea of what she ought to be.
She reaches for her own ideal sense of whom she wants to be.
She's strong; she's courageous; she's creative.

On another forum I visit there's a thread about how people exercise each day.  I'd like to broaden that to focus on anything we do each day, consciously, that is good for us.  Did you go to bed on time in order to get adequate rest?  Did you choose fruits and vegetables over less healthy alternatives?  Did you exercise?  Did you connect with a friend?  Did you journal?  Did you drink plenty of water?

Share here and let's inspire each other!  yippee

So far today I chose a healthy, low-fat breakfast instead of the junky one I wanted.  It's only 9 a.m. - wish me luck on the next 14 hours.  LOL  Just kidding.  Seriously, I feel really good about starting the day off the right way.   diva

I got myself off my bum and out to a Saturday ballet class this morning.  yippee  That makes three classes this week.  Next week, if all goes well, I'll do three again plus a 30-minute private lesson to work on the fundamentals of alignment and such.  thumbs up

I get it! Wink

I took a 90-minute ballet class today, with an unfamiliar teacher.  Wasn't my greatest class ever, but I still got in a workout, so that's good. smile

I overcame some procrastination and got about two hours of yard work done today.  It feels good because for a while now, every time I go out front I've been looking at what needs to be done and feeling bad that I hadn't gotten around to it.  Now, there is progress to be seen! thumbs up

edited to add I also went walking while DD rode her scooter in the evening.   diva

Today I spent some fun, relaxing, laugh and chat time with my hubby before we got up to start the day.  It was WONDERFUL!  We joked around like kids and laughed at silly stuff.  It's so easy to get caught up in our to-do's, that it was nice to take that time before getting started on our chores.   clap  And now I'm taking the time to catch up on DT, which is a GREAT way for me to be good to myself.   heart

Heather - that sounds like so much fun. smile
Lara - good job!

I had a nice healthy smoothie for lunch, went for a 25-30 minute walk while DD rode her scooter and scheduled a massage for myself, as my neck and consequently my head have been really bothering me for going on a week now.

1.  Sat down and had a decent lunch.
2.  Got out my pedometer again - the feedback is helpful.
