Did you know that you can subscribe to a thread and get emailed when there are new posts?

When you are writing a post, just below the text area is a link that says "Additional Options".  Click on it, and you have an option that says "Notify me of replies."  This is a great way to know when a topic you're interested in has a new post!  It's helpful for me on another board I visit because I don't necessarily check in with it every day, but this way at least I always know when someone has replied to any thread I've started.

Anpther way to subscribe to a thread to to look near the top, next to the "reply" button.  Click on the "notify" button and you can get emails sent to you for that thread.

There is also a way to subscribe to an entire forum.  Near the top, where there's the "new topic" button, there's also a "Notify" button.  You can use that to get emails sent to you whenever there's a new topic started in that forum.
