DD had been checking out a site that talked about famous composers, including Beethoven. It would play a little bit of some of his work and talk about them by name.
A week or so ago, I was looking through our cd's and saw that we had Beethoven's 5th. I told DD, and her reply? "Cool!"
I have to admit, I love having a kid who thinks Beethoven is cool.
She's also waayyyy into ballets right now and has been counting down the days until the latest one (Coppelia) arrived from Netflix. She thought it would take until Monday (not sure why, but that's what she said), so she got a surprise in today's mail! We'll watch it tonight. It's one of the ballets she learned about in her ballet camp.
