I represent Whirlpool and thought other member moms might be interested in this $20K grant competition based on the idea that women inventors have changed the way Americans live. From windshield wipers to white out, diapers to automatic dishwashers, Scotch Guard to Kevlar, the evidence is clear: Women inventors have changed the way Americans live.
To recognize the ingenious minds of American mothers, Whirlpool brand is launching the second annual Mother of Invention contest. The entry deadline is July 30, 2006. Enter online starting May 14 at:
http://www.whirlpool.com/moms One grand-prize winner will receive: a $20,000 grant; a stipend for a new home office; Whirlpool brand's most innovative products: Fabric Freshener, as well as a Cabrio washer and dryer or a Duet washer and dryer; and training in product development and marketing (and everything in between) at a two-day business boot camp. Two first-prize winners and two second-prize winners will be awarded grants, innovative Whirlpool brand laundry appliances and attendance at the business boot camp as well.
