I use this phrase a lot with my daughter, as she has an acute sense of right and wrong and sees when others are doing something that is against the rules, unkind, dangerous, etc. etc. (Doesn\'t always see such actions in herself, however.

)
It occurs to me lately that I need to remind myself of this phrase. I seem happiest and most content when I just worry about myself and what I\'m doing, instead of
comparing myself to others. When I get into the zone of doing things that make me feel happy, it\'s good. When I set back and let myself ruminate over the past, or what someone else is doing, or what I could have done or could be doing, I get uneasy, agitated, anxious, angry and all sorts of other uncomfortable feelings. This is true in personal relationships, business, parenting, education - pretty much all of the important areas of my life.
I need to just worry about myself and let go of what others are doing or saying. Get into my own zone and enjoy being there.
