Welcome to DivaTribe

A diva accepts herself as she is right now and strives to be even better.
She doesn't change who she is to fit someone else's idea of what she ought to be.
She reaches for her own ideal sense of whom she wants to be.
She's strong; she's courageous; she's creative.

From Anne Lamott, Plan B: Further Thoughts
on Faith:

ìGratitude, not understanding, is the secret to
joy and equanimity.î

So, it is in the ìYESî not in the ìIíll figure it outî

It is in the ìOpeningî not the ìbeing right.î

It is being grateful, not in ìhaving all the answersîÖ..

Yes, Yes, YesÖ..

And as we litter the world with Gratitude,
the world litters us with love.

Thanks, Jen....

here are further thoughts on gratitude today, plus my gratitude list:

Winslow Homer said, \"The sun will not rise
or set without my notice, and thanks.\"

The sun will not rise or set without me being
committed on an ongoing basis to adding to
the increase, to changing the planet, and to
attracting new \"fellow magicians\" who, like
me, are open to the miraculous all around
us - in the most \"mundane\" to the
most extraordinary.

In the vein of Meister Eckhart\'s quote, \"If the
only prayer you ever say is \'Thank you\' it is
enough.\" Today I will live these three words.

\"I notice - thanks.\"

My morning walk ñ during which I enjoyed the breeze of the (somewhat) early morning and meditated on Courage, Confidence and Charisma ñ my theme for June ñ felt absolutely heavenly!

My morning pages, completed exactly AFTER my morning walk ñ 3 beautiful pages in my colorful Lisa Frank notebook ñ without interruption, distraction or mind wandering ñ the One Two punch of Morning Walk and Morning Pages rides again!!! YAHOOOO! Felt SOOOOO good!!! And it was a bonus to have Katherine there at the table with me.

Working with Mayva Burkley Kirk, running lines last night and supporting her work, she is getting it, getting it, getting it.

Reading Jean Shinoda Bolenís classic ìGoddesses in Everywomanî this morning, simply one chapter and simply wonderful.

Watching the size of 42 Days of Writing Passionately (http://www.PassionWriteNow.com)  grow, grow, growÖ Each new participant adds to the universal increaseÖ and who knows what marvelous activity the Divine has in store? ñ so very exciting to witness.

Coffee, Special K

Hank, sitting right at my feet, forever teaching me about being humanityís best friend.

Walking up to a cool, crisp 1st Day of June ñ a new month, a new canvas, new possibilities ñ YES to this life force, bubbling up amongst usÖ. YES! YES! YES!

I am SOOOOO grateful!

What are YOU grateful for today?

My list would have to include novacaine.  Wink  I had to get a filling this morning, and I am so glad that dental work can be relatively pain-free and somewhat comfortable.

What else....

Money in the bank to be able to stop at the grocery store and pick up whatever looked good at the time - fresh fruit, organic items...

heart In-laws that live close enough to watch DD when I need someone to take her AND who love to do so!

A migraine-free day.  I am always grateful for each day that finds me pain-free in that regard.
