How fun!  Please share with us what you learn - maybe it will inspire others who have been considering dipping a toe or two into the stock market.

Have you seen oneshare.com?  It\'s really cute - the idea is that you can give someone a gift of one share of stock in a real company.

Of course, it\'s more like buying a gift and less like making $ once you pay for the frame and the processing fee one share at a time, but still -it\'s cute.

I really like the club format; we meet once a month and each stock in the portfolio is assigned to a club member to watch.  Once a year each stock is re-evaluated and presented.  (Of course, if there is any significant activity noted on the monthly ledgers we look at that stock too.)  They use a software package to do the value projection.  I am required to take a class (2 day seminar) in the valuation process before I\'m assigned any stocks.  I can\'t wait to get in the class!!  They haven\'t done the fall class schedule yet, so I keep checking the website.
