Several weeks ago I bit in to something, and broke a lower molar. It was too far gone to be repaired, so I had to have the rest of it pulled. It was a really difficult extraction because it broke at the gum line, and the Dentist had to surgically remove the root. I wound up getting a dry socket, which was more painful than natural childbirth!
 
I can't believe, over 3 weeks later, it still has not healed. Today, I had to get 4 stitches put in because it just wont heal properly. I am so frustrated!

Dry sockets are horrible.  I hope you are feeling better soon!
