Hello all you unique and beautiful women!

My name is Marie. I'm a 20 year old junior at Plattsburgh State University. Besides busting my butt at school I have decided to participate in the 2008 Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in New York.

Did you know that three million women are living with breast cancer--and one third don’t even know it? Even more startling, breast cancer kills aprox. one woman every 14 minutes, robbing us of our mothers and grandmothers, our sisters and aunts, cousins and best friends.

Let's put an end to this together!

I'm so grateful and excited to be part of such a moving and profound cause. I have vowed to raise $1800 by October of this year which has been proving very difficult while holding a job and going to school full time.

I'm reaching out to whoever will listen. Please, donate any amount of money you see fit. I will be decorating the last names of those who donate on to a t-shirt i will wear during the walk in honor of their contribution.
