Welcome to DivaTribe

A diva accepts herself as she is right now and strives to be even better.
She doesn't change who she is to fit someone else's idea of what she ought to be.
She reaches for her own ideal sense of whom she wants to be.
She's strong; she's courageous; she's creative.

DD and I are reading this book together.  Did anyone else love this book as a child?  I did, and it is so fun to read it with DD now.   She is so into it that she brought it in the car with us yesterday and read a chapter to me while I was driving. big grin  We're having fun with it.

I absolutely LOVED that book as a little girl. Thank you for the reminder, my nieces 8'th birthday is coming up, and I think that will be the perfect gift!

It's so nice to read really good literature with DD - I enjoy the experience so much more when I like the book and want to keep reading as much as she does. lovey

Never read it as a child...I loved the movie, though, and always meant to buy the book for Ale when she's old enough to read it in English (or, rather, when she's proficient enough!)...maybe a couple of years still...

Finally - we're at the last chapter!  We don't read it every day, so it's taking us a while to get through it.  And we only read it together, so she hasn't read any of it by herself.  But today we'll finish it! big grin  Such a great book for this time of year, too, with spring showing itself all around us.
