I am so bad about getting regular haircuts.  I haven't been since December!   eek  I finally went in today and have a nice cut - still long, but cleaned up and no more split ends. big grin

Good for you! I need to do the same thing myself. It's been ages.

Congrats! I am really bad about that too - I always wait until I look like the scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz! I really should make an appointment now.

It feels so nice - I always wait too long and yet I'm always so glad when I finally go in.  I briefly toyed with getting a bunch cut off and donating it, but in the end I kept it long.

I always feel a ton lighter when I cut my hair!  I did it myself not too long ago from sheer desperation. Wink

I got about 3-4 inches taken off today. It falls now to just below my shoulders and she did a lot of layers. I can still pull it back in a pony-tail too.  The HD said that most of what I was carrying around was old, dead hair and this was so healthy for me to do.

I've been debating on whether or not to get my hair cut soon. I always have this internal issue of let it grow/I can do more with it long versus trim it because all I do is put it back in a clip most days anyway. And you know the day you get it cut it totally behaves and looks great, making you rethink your decision, lol.

I FINALLY got my hair trimmed and colored today! I didn't even realize until after how bleached out my color had gotten over the summer - not to mention all the gray's that were creeping in!

It feels so much better to be rid of the split ends too! My neighbor was complimenting it when I got home, and is going to make an appointment with my stylist now.

I'm tempted to go another cut and take some length off.  It's to about the middle of my back, so I have plenty to spare, and it might be nice to have a little bit of a change.  I can always let it grow again. Wink
