Phew!  It's a lot of fun to help out backstage and watch the girls from the wings, but I'm tired!    DD had a great time in her show and enjoyed dancing both of her parts.  The girls worked hard and it showed.  DD won an award - a signed and decorated pair of pointe shoes from one of the older girls.   She also got to present that girl with her bouquets after each show.    That was a first for DD and she loved doing it!  Another month of regular classes three days a week and then it's onto a month of workshop - three classes a week but she'll be there for about 3 hours a day.  There's an end of workshop, in studio performance to look forward to, too.

DD's dancing around the living room right now, which is what inspired me to post.  She really loves to just dance and move, and it's fun to watch her.   She has started talking about pointe shoes (which is a LONG way off) so the bug has definitely hit her hard.
